hmm..

well, i've just done something i think i've been meaning to do for a wee while now (:
officially got myself applied for a driving lisence.
so hopefully i'll be out and about in a wee car as soon as i turn 17, which basically means midnight on the 29th of november 2007. (:
make sure you're tucked in bed with the doors locked (:
haha. i have faith in myself. totally.
i'm going to drive and i'm going to take that weight off of my parents back of having to run myself and my younger sibling everywhere, i can run lisa, as i (unlike my parents) will find driving fun and will be happy to lisa anywhere she wants to go. as well as myself of course.

i'm going to allow my dad to teach me the basics as i feel that my dad as a respectable driver and has no bad habbits. that i dont have already. i have always been a keen back seat driver, so i practically sitting my test already. (:

so i was at school yesums. it was a good day today had 4 classes as i had double free (:
i went back to school at lunch for the housemeeting. interhouse netball football this thursday and as my millde names are (as you well know) mystic meg, douglas are going to win.
zoe and i refuse to allow tall people to get in the way this year. (: we're stonger and faster than ever before, however we have lost laura to torn ligaments in her knee, she will be sadly missed. but hopefully we'll do just as good (:


i find that i am working on friday and monday of the september weekend so the first holiday back at school and technically, well i'm not, if that makes any sense.
with any luck i'll find myself in the wee ice cream van, serving, well- ice cream to the true scots men and women who dont find it cold. :S this is amazes me. (:


so pop down in yer wee car for a road trip and have someice cream, and we'll have a game of net ball hahahaha.

This Post Has a Point. Unlike the rest o' them!!

My Dad has an extensive collection of music on his computer and whilst sitting at his desk doing my homework, i was brosing and listening to a collection of class old/new choooooons.

okay. so thats my mum and dad, and i dont really know what to say here without sounding dead cheesy or as if i'm looking for something. so whilst we're at it i'll just make it clear that i dont!! haha.

if theres two people that have always been there for me its got to have been my mum and dad and i know you might be thinking whatt? thats a given but its actually not. as my mum and dad let me make my own mistakes and i learn alot from them. they've always been there for me, always. its beyond comparison my parents to anyone elses as it just goes without saying, my parents really are the best.

friends come and go, its only true friends who stick by you, with you and behind you all the way. i'm really proud to say i have friends with these qualities. (: my parents have always had these qualities and they dont switch them on and off whenever they fancy. my parents are the people who have always had to deal with the aftermath of everything in my life. yet, they're always there for me when it happens again. [which it 7 times out of 10 does] whatever the case. its always good to know that if you need a chat they're there, if you want a night in, yet still have a good bit of fin, they're there. its nice to know i have that safety blanket of my parents love, yet its never going to disappear. i would like to think they thought the same about me.

i would really like to think i'm perfect, but i'm not, even if i wish to be. i never will be either, pretty disappointing but nevertheless. i'd like to think i've not let my mum and dad down or disapppointed them in any way. there are times when possibley all they want to do is ring my neck but i learn and move on. and really all this blog is about, is thanking my parents for being mine. nothing in my life could have been acomplished or completed or even started if it wasnt for them. they give me that extra power to keep going and they give me that thing called love and thats something i wouldnt change for the world.

Robbie Coltrane?!?!

I was so taken aback by my new phone I havn't blogged in over 2 months.

Shocking.

But here I go again on my own (:

Aint promising much though as recently, I've been coming in from school, lying on my bed and sleeping for 3 - 4 hours at a time, last night for ezample I came in and didnt wake up until 9 o'clock... Homework Homework Homework. ):

Being in 6th year is actually thee single most biggest change ever.

School captains were announced last week and either tomorrow or friday the house captains for all of the 6 houses will be announced. (:

Good luck to all those involved.

I feel I should take this time to mention Robert and Elizabeth and how much they've been ace friends through a crappy period of my life right there, but everyone, including my mum, dad and Lisa (my sidekick) have been amazing. If it wasnt for them I'd have had another one of my famous 'mid - life' crisises. lol (:

Last weekend my family and I went to the tattoo. It was brill. Really it was.

And Lisa and I got a kick out of the fact that she was sitting next to a woman who, I swear on my life was the spitting image of Robbie Coltraine. aka Hagrid.

This day Shall go down in History...

So there it is,

The reason this day will go down in history :]

I bought a new phone last night.

Samsung E250 (Silver)

Its a beast.

Then again, I'm always gonna think that because the phone I have just now,

SUCKS.

Button 2, 5 and 8 dont work.

So its basically the buttons down the middle.

And I thought, Enough's enough.

So there we have it.

New phone on its way :]

But I guess its my fault.

I've had this phone fro about 2 years.

And I've used it everyday. For 2 years.

Had a good use out of it.

And now it be done.

But,

On Wednesday night,

I did spill Cola on it. So...

I helped it be "done"

I'll never forget my Dad's face and expression

When I showed him my broken brick:

"Buy a new Phone!"

In Other news,

Ross is officially away to Paris.

I have been off school since May the 11th on Exam leave.
My last exam was last wednesday the 30th.
From then on, I've been doing NOTHING.

I was that bored I tided that house for my Mum.

Today is my last day of being off...
So I'm going out to dinner tonight with Ross && his family for his brothers and his birthday. :]keep yer *fingers crossed* he likes my present.. :]

So i'm just doing a quick wee post tonight;

where it was like non stop until like monday night

thursday night,

last rehersal at gbs before the parents night on saturday.

everyone was like stressed

everyone knew is wasnt that great

noone knew what they were doing

but hey!

lets go for it anyway :]

so was at the church until about 10

then went home

worked 11-5.30 on friday

came home

went to ross'

saturday worked 9-5

went home

rushed into the shower

was at the church for 6.30

give or take

did the parents night

HOORAA

[which was really good btw]

then went to ross' aunts party

[which actually wasnt that great, but it was a laugh]

then came home

then sunday

paraded

then went into hamilton

to get ross' birthday present

i'll not post what i got him just in the off chance hes reading this.

i'll post it after june the 5th

then monday spent the day with ross.

end of.

wow.

and this weekends gonna be exactly the same.

And I got up at 6.30

My English exam.

Since I got 2 hours sleep. To be exact.
I know what the point is.

Life is all about trying
The more you try the more you succed
Its actually pretty logical..Even for me :]
But when life deals you A punch in the _ _ _ _ _
Such as...Being really crap at English,
You just need to keep trying.
In this case if i dont try
It will be a waste of valuble time in my life
Which could have otherwise been spent being with Ross
Being with family, friends etc etc etc...

Well I thought I better do a wee quick post tonight.
As I havnt posted.
When I promised that I would.
Imagine that. :/
Oh well.
We all do that at some point.
Then again I look at people like Kerron and think how can he blog EVERY day.

Sometimes twice a day. I have trouble blogging once a week never mind once a day.

Not much been happening in the world of Nicole this week.

Although, one of my best friends has officially left school.
The picture was takena while ago in PSE.
Me on the left, Sammi on the right.
Anyway I have to say it was quite upsetting.
However, Hannah, Robert and myself are making her a special "Sammi" yearbook.
Its every picture ever taken of the four of us.
And lots of things to remind her of her 5 years at school with us.
However I do wish her all thee luck in the world as she moves on to Uni.
Shes gonna do great,
Then when she does,
I can look back and say,
I used to got o school with her!

So, I'm looking forward to this weekend,
As the family are going to see the younger one,
Perform in Shine,
Should actually be a very class show.
Lisa is singing.
I'll not say what though,

How are we all out there?
I’m fine.
You’ll all be happy to know I’m alive…

I’m not going to bother telling you stories from the last time I blogged right up until now. I shall just pick out some of them that I think may interest you, just so you know where I’ve been XD

The picture above is of my younger sibling and myself at a recent K-Lee (I’m sorry, I don’t know how to spell. This has never been one of my stronger areas in life.) we attended with my Grand-Parents. I chose this picture for 2 reasons.
Is it a good picture. I do quite like it.
I’m blogging from admin and this is the only picture I have on my school system.

I know you all appreciate it.
I hadn’t been to a K-Lee in years and when I entered the hall (2 hours late after having a typical teenage daughter and father fight about what I was wearing) everyone seemed to know me. I felt quite popular but by 20 minutes in I was sick fed up of telling old people that I’ve been getting on fine...

Been going with Ross a month tomorrow. Will post a picture when I get one. It’s such a rare find... A boy who I like… likes me. Parents like him. His parents like me. In the words of my best friend “He’s a keeper” … Hannah ;-)

So during the Easter holidays I went to an Easter Study School which I found ab fab for my studying. I picked up brilliant hints and tips and I totally benefited from it. So aye, I’ll probably go next year again. When I wasn’t at Study School you could have found me working down Sandyholm’s Coffee Shop. =]

HOWEVER
In reference to one of my Dad’s last blogs.

Yes. The phone bill was ALOT.
But only (listen to me saying only) £140 was mine.
So I worked. About 98 or more hours and fully paid it back.

As it stands I have used the phone 3 times since the last bill.
My mind has developed an imaginary barbed wire fence round about it. I do not wish to touch it. It depresses me.
The three calls:
My Grandfather, to check about the K-Lee (Mentioned above)
My Uncle Jack, to check if it was alright that Ross came to the BBQ 2 Sundays ago. (Will mention below)
Ross. General chit chat. (Before I acquired free minutes)
Ross. General chit chat. (After I ran out of free minutes)

SO.. To my father, whom I know is reading this (HIYAAAA)

I’m sorry about the third one. && the forth.
But apart from that, I have not used the phone.

I have been using my mobile for everything else.

This is quite a random statement but I would like everyone to know I made myself a packed lunch this morning and used a bags which I don’t think I had even at primary. One says “Snack Attack” and the other “Willie Whale.” This is an achievement. I’m sure you’ll agree. ;-)

I feel at this precise moment I should give a small mention to my fellow Diet Coke addict. All the way down in London. Kerron. When at a meeting at Kirkton Manse Kerron told me he was addicted. So Mum, if you read this, I’m not the only one. ;-)

2 Sundays ago my cousins from Aberdeen came to stay at our house. I’ve never, actually ever, had as much fun in all my life. That was the Saturday night, then on the Sunday, My Uncle John, from Inverness came down too. So there was a BBQ at my aunt and uncles house on the Sunday, just a family gathering, so we could have everyone there…

I'm going to talk about my weekend.

Because to be honest with you nothing happened this week,

Because I've not been at school I've been on study leave.

So.. Friday, off to a rather interesting start,

Hannah and I were off to the annual GB Bible Quiz.

We were 2nd, which was quite good,

There is however a part of me that was disappointed because it was the same Quiz Vyv and I did last year and we were first..

However, still, 2nd is as good a place to be,

When in actualy fact there was 2 points in it.

So went home friday night and watched Fawlty Towers..

"Communication Problems"

Mrs Alice Richards doesnt think the room is satisfactory,
And starts slagging off the veiw out of the window;
Cue Basil:“What did you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically…!” — Basil is at his sarcastic best!

So got up in the morning and got ready for work.. =]
No bother at all,
Was pretty hyper at work as I was going out Saturday night with Sammi & Hannah to see "Hot Fuzz"
So the day actually went by quite quickly,
1st to go for my lunch, then started brushing round about half 4.. :)

So we got out early, 5.30 and headed home.
I got to the train station and off Sammi, Hannah and I went to see "Hot Fuzz"

I was already heading to Hamilton on the train with a preconception of thi is a guys movie,
I'm not going to enjoy it.
However,
We went in and took our seats,
And so the film began,
And what a bliknking great film it is,
Iwas especially glad to see Mr Timothy Dalton,
Which I believe was his best performance in a movie since he made
"Licence To Kill" in 1989

Anyway,
I fully recommend you go and see Hot Fuzz.
I would even go to stretch as far as saying it was better than Rocky.
And thats something.
Its 2 hours, So remember your sweets + juice!

I came in from Hot Fuzz and proceeded to watch more Fawlty Towers,
I was laughing so much at the jokes,
It caused my Dad, Who was down the stair to think I was on the phone,
Because I was laughing constantly.

Sunday morning early rise,
Got up and had a shower then headed to Cyber Faith,
It was quite interesting this week as Nancy came to talk to us about Kenya.
I finilized payment for the big trip next week, and I am officially excited about that.
X-Cape.
Snowboarding.
Should be great fun!

After CF we came down to church,
Robert's second week at church and it was the Scouts 100th birthday service and a christning.
Wow.
Never the less,
We sant (thanks Mr C :-)) one of my favourite hymns..
I was happy,
And now Robert likes it too. =]

After church Robert came to my house,
And so did Elizabeth,
We dashed to the train station
Headed into Hamilton
To catch the 2.50 showing
of
Hot Fuzz

It just keeps getting better + better.

Please go and see it.
I promise you wont regret it.

Long time no Blog.

And so the panto season passed.

But what a rocking great time I had doing it.

Couldnt have asked for a better auidence, better part or better anything!!

So 3 days off school,

I've caught up on some seriousy needed sleep,

Studied and seen friends.

Friday night had the guys round,

Sammi, Robert and Elizabeth,

We sat and watched Rent.

You did not need to know this stupidddddd piece of information however,

I fully reccomend you go and rent Rent.

You can get it for £3 out the video shop and that gives you 3 nights with it,

Or ask someone who has the Dvd, to loan you it.

On another note about 2 weeks ago my Dad and I,

We went to see the new Rocky film.

It is a 2007 must see.

Complete 5 Star rating.

So last night,

I watched "The Fugitive" and got a tad freeked out.

I thought a man with a prosthetic (Spelling) arm was gonna come up the stairs and get me.

So I phoned my dad,

Who said:

And I quote,

"Oh yeah there is a man with a prosthetic arm down the stairs,

I talk to him every night before I go to bed." Class.

But just for the reference, theres not.

I'm in computing, Free period as such..
Actually quite bored and have a rant that is dying to man-oover itself out of my system =]]

Going to Shine tonight, just because it rawked to the high heeeeejins!
Tonight, I shall get everybody up on thier feet as they really do deserve a standing ovation!

Basically, my current problem is CHS.
They refuse to provide space for my friend and I to study on a wednesday afternoon, they're rather we went to H.E and made a pilliow or Techie and made a table.

Should be a good night,

I feel like I'm never away from there,

Hoping this weekend I can go and see the new Rocky movie.
I honestly, genuinely cannot wait to see it,

Admin this morning was pretty rubbish we sat and listened to the teacher go on and on for 2 hours.
Maths was good, Sammi and I were late in as we'd been speaking to Mr F about PD, so we were greeted with a slighty hyper Robert and we got into a conversationa bout which celebs we really dont like..

French was also fun as I Louise and I managed to finish the work and have no homework,
And we put our names down for a french debate at Herriot Watt Uni.

English was great! Reading Laidlaw again,
Basically there was abit in the novel where someone was talking about "farts" and I laughed and Miss W said "Do you find that funny? I'm glad someone does" She then went on to say " Laidlaw loves to crack jokes" ... the whole class burst out laughing.

Erm, Well Hello Basically

Hello There Folks =]
Thought it was about time I tried, yes attempted, to let you know whats going on in my head..

Any advice on how to work this will be appreciated; however I'm sure I'll pick it up.

So its Wednesday the day of nothing-ness.

Today is the day where nothing happens during the day,

..And nothing happens at night.

Today I woke up in a slightly bad mood as my alarm just got on my nerves.

So I wandered to school and sat through first period watching the teacher make a fool of herself as she kept getting the sums wrong..

.. I now feel highly confident about my exam. =]

French, English and Admin were all their usual boring.
